Carrie Hunter
Founder and Director of
Genesis Employment Services
For over 20 years, Carrie has been devoted to working with individuals with disabilities by providing them with personalized support services. Carrie utilizes this wealth of experience and success in her efforts at Genesis Employment Services. Today, her key passion is to help individuals develop their skills and build confidence toward achieving their employment goals.
Carrie has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton, as well as a Master of Science degree in Human Behavior from National University. For 12 years, Carrie provided supervisory and 1:1 ABA behavioral therapy services to children and adolescents with disabilities, within school, home and community settings. In this role, Carrie created individualized goals, implemented behavioral interventions and taught social, communication and educational skills.
In 2012, Carrie decided to pursue a new career path working with adults. From her prior professional experience, she has developed a unique skill set that is ideal for working with individuals with disabilities. In 2015, Carrie began providing a variety of employment services to individuals through Texas Workforce. In 2017, Carrie founded Genesis Employment Services. Genesis Employment Services currently provides employment services nationwide through the Social Security Administrationâs Ticket to Work program, as well as through Texas Workforce.

Create customized resumes and cover letters for each position that successfully get in front of the hiring manager.
Job Searching
Utilize methods to find job leads with less competition, including the use of job boards, networking, and researching unmetâbusiness needs.
Application Training
Effectively complete job applications, pre-employment testing, Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) surveys, and questionnaires.
Interview Training
Master a successful job interview, interview etiquette, personal presentation, common interview questions, and disability disclosures.
Direct Job Placement
Obtain permanent, long-term employment within a competitive and integrated setting.
Ongoing Employment Support
Ensure the job is a good fit, that employer expectations are met, and all necessary supports and accommodations are in place to be successful.
Job Retention
